AnnaLynn McCord is an American actress, who was born in a suburb near Atlanta Georgia. She showed interest in acting right from her childhood and started acting in Community Theater from the age of nine. Anna was home schooled and she graduated at the age of fifteen. After completing her High School she participated in “Actors, Models & Talent Competition” (AMTC) where she received a contract and moved to Miami to further her studies in acting.

She stared off her television career with a small role of a “Hot Girl” in “The OC”. The same year, she appeared in “Close to Home” where she portrayed the role of Sara. But the turning point came in her career with her appearance in the remake of 2007 horror film “Day of the Dead”. She also appeared in 2008, horror film “The Slaughter”.

She also plays rebellious Loren Wakefield in My Network TV series “American Heiress”. She was cast in another My Network TV series “Rules of Deception”, but it never got aired due to network’s new programming strategy. She has also done guest appearances in series like “Ugly Betty”, “Greek” and “Cold Case”.

Her upcoming projects are two movies “Amexica” and “Fired Up”, which are in post production mode and will be released in 2009.

She can be called the queen bee of the social scene. Initially, she appears as a troublesome kid, but steadily the layers of mystery are peeled off from the fact, why she is the way she is. She is shown as girlfriend of Ethan Ward, but later their relationship becomes problematic. Eventually they break up. She befriends Annie. She tells Annie that she won’t be able to go out with Ethan if they ever want to become friends. This brings some frictions in their friendship as Annie confronts her for her statement. Finally, Ethan becomes Annie’s boy friend, which marks the end of their friendship.
